The EL3012 analog input terminal processes signals in the range 0 … 20 mA. The current is digitized to a resolution of 12 bits and transmitted, electrically isolated, to the higher-level automation device. The input channels of the EtherCAT Terminal EL3012 are differential inputs and have a common internal ground potential, which is not connected to the power contacts.
Overcurrent is displayed not only in the process image, but also by error LEDs for each channel.
