EL2869 | EtherCAT Terminal, 16-channel digital output, 24 V DC, 0.5 A, with channel diagnostics

The EL2869 digital output terminal connects the binary control signals of the automation device to the actuators, electrically isolated from the process level. The EtherCAT Terminal contains sixteen channels each, which indicate their signal state by means of LEDs. The EL2869 is protected against polarity reversal and processes load currents with overload and short-circuit-proof outputs.

The integrated diagnostics can be evaluated in the controller and are indicated by the LEDs. A diagnostic bit is set for the affected channel when an overload is present. The diagnostics simplify the maintenance of the application.

The output behavior of the channels in the event of bus errors can be parameterized (safe state).

In the EL2869, the outputs are supplied via the 24 V power contact. The power contacts are through-connected. The conductor connection for solid conductors can be connected without tools using the direct plug-in technique.
