Operation of two coils with common center tap

Operation of two coils with common center tap on the EL2535 is only possible under the following conditions:
• The center tap is connected to GND as shown in the figure. However, this only allows positive current to be applied to the coils. This type of wiring can lead to dynamic losses in the system.

Pin assignment 2:

• From software version 03 it is possible to use coils with center tap. However, both channels must not be activated at the same time via the control word.
