Connecting the inputs
The optically isolated inputs are protected from overload by a current limitation. Without further external circuit the operating voltage may lie between 5 and 24 VDC. The GND connection is the common ground of the two inputs T and Z. The circuit diagram shows the internal circuit of the two inputs:
