Introduction

In connection with an EK1100 EtherCAT coupler, the EK1561 single-port POF junction makes it possible to convert from 100BASE-TX physics to 100BASE-FX physics (POF - Polymeric Optical Fiber). Distances of up to 50 m between two couplers can be bridged using the EK1561 and the EK1541 EtherCAT coupler for POF. Unlike the glass fiber, the POF fiber is easily wireable in the field. The Run LED indicates the status of the EK1561.
