PWM (Integer) - ModuleIdent 0x809C8, 0x3809C8

The pulse width and frequency of a 5…24 V DC binary signal with a maximum load capacity of 1.5 A can be changed via the digital pulse width modulation output (PWM). This operation mode is used in the EL2502 product group and is therefore referred to as the “legacy” operation mode.

Prerequisite: A SlotGroup must be assigned a ModuleGroup that contains the ModuleIdent 0x809C8/0x3809C8PWM Output Pulse Width, Period (INT16/32 Legacy)”.
1. In “PWM (Integer)” operation mode, the process data are specified as integer variables, INT16 or INT32-PDO
The pulse width or duty cycle via “PWM Output” and
The period (equal to 1/frequency) via “PWM Period” (INT16) or “PWM Period 1Hz” (INT32)
