Devices can be destroyed by electrostatic charging! The devices contain electrostatically sensitive components which can be damaged by improper handling. - When handling the components, take care to avoid electrostatic discharge; also, prevent direct contact with the spring-loaded contacts (see illustration).
- Contact with highly insulating materials (synthetic fibers, plastic films, etc.) should be avoided when simultaneously handling components.
- When handling the components, ensure proper earthing of the environment (workplace, packaging, and persons).
- Each bus station must be terminated with the EL9011 or EL9012 end cap on its right side to guarantee the protection rating and ESD protection.
