EtherCAT Terminal, 16-channel digital input, 24 V DC, 3 ms, positive/ground switching, push-in

The ED1829 digital input terminal acquires the binary 24 V DC control signals from the process level and transmits them, in electrically isolated form, to the higher-level automation device.

The EtherCAT Terminal contains 16 channels whose signal state is indicated by LEDs. Due to the flexible switching logic, each channel can be used for positive or ground switching. The switching mode is determined automatically by the connected reference potential without configuration. This creates two defined voltage ranges in which the signal is reliably recognized as logical “1.”
