The following questions and hints are intended to provide initial assistance in the event of any problems:

• Why does the Device Manager not work or issue error messages?
• Why can some values not be accessed?
• Check the Device Manager version via the version of the file MDP.exe (MDP.dll on Windows CE).
• The current version of the Device Manager for x86/x64 Windows is available from Beckhoff support.
• Windows CE (Windows Embedded Compact): are you using the latest image for your device?
  The Device Manager for Windows CE is not available as a separate download.
• Which services are supported by your IPC?
• Does the device web page work?
  Check with the device web page whether the desired values are displayed.
• Does access via OPC UA work?
  Use an OPC UA client (e.g. UA Expert) to check whether you can access the desired values.
