Select operation mode

The CX7080 supports three operation modes in counter mode: The operation mode is set in TwinCAT via CoE objects. You can choose between the three operating modes up/down counter, up counter and down counter.

Proceed as follows:

1. Click the CX7028 device on the left in the structure tree.
2. Click the CoE-Online tab.
Select operation mode 1:
3. Double-click the CoE object 8000:09 Operating mode.
4. Under the Enum option, select the required operation mode.
The operation mode is applied. Note that you can only use one operation mode at a time with the CX7080 and mode mixing is not possible.
