DIP switch

The Profibus fieldbus modules CX2500-M310 and CX2500-B310 feature two 10-pin address selection switches. The address selection switches can be used to set the Profibus address.

The address selection switch has no purpose in the master.

Settings:

• S310 for address x 1
• S311 for address x 10

Sample: If the switches are set to S310 = 2 and S311 = 1, the resulting address is = 12.

To ensure that the address set via the two address selection switches is used, the corresponding setting must be activated in TwinCAT (e.g. in TwinCAT 3 see: Setting the address with a DIP switch).
