Product overview

The CX2500-0062 module provides two independent Ethernet interfaces. The Intel^®-i226 Ethernet controller used supports data transfer rates of up to 2.5 Gbit/s. This makes the module useful for applications that require particularly high data rates and short reaction times.

The extension modules are connected via a multi-pin connector on the left-hand side of the basic CPU module. A maximum of two CX2500-0062 modules can be connected to the CX20xx series in any order. For the CX52x0, CX53x0, or CX56x0 series, a maximum of one module can be plugged in and only the upper port of the module can be used, as the CX52x0, CX53x0, and CX56x0 only have one PCI Express^® lane on the left-hand side.
