Switching off

Loss of data

If the Embedded PC is switched off during operation, data on the CFast card or other hard disks may be lost. Do not disconnect the Embedded PC from the power supply during operation.

Switch off the Embedded PC as follows:

1. Stop all running programs properly, e.g. the control software on the Embedded PC.

2. Shut down the operating system.

3. Do not switch off the external power supply until all other tasks have been completed, in order to switch off the Embedded PC.
