Supply of the loads (U1out, U2out)
Connect the devices to be supported to the outputs U1out and U2out. If the external 24 V DC input voltage is lost, the UPS takes over the supply of the devices connected to it thanks to its regulated and buffered 24 V DC output voltage. Use the two 9-pin connectors with push-in connection to wire the CU8130-0240 UPS. The devices connected to the U1out and U2out outputs must not exceed the maximum permissible output current of the UPS of max. 9 A.
Output U1out
The U1out output is primarily intended for connecting an industrial PC. If the industrial PC supports UPS-OCT, output U1out is used to supply the industrial PC and also for bidirectional communication between the UPS and IPC. Observe the following specifications when wiring:
- The shielding must be connected on both sides (ground ⏚). In the case of an industrial PC, the connection to the grounding screw is made using an O-ring. The shield must not be connected to GND of the supply connector.
- No cable interruptions (e.g. no passive terminals, no distributors).
- No parallel loads (e.g. no bridges between Us and Up on the embedded PC, no second industrial PC).
Output U2out
The U2out output is used to supply a second load, e.g. a panel or other 24 V devices.
