Power supply
The panel PC is supplied with a nominal voltage of 24 V. The connection to the power supply is made via the 4-pin M12 voltage socket (X101). The main supply voltage is applied between PIN 1 (24 V) and PIN 3 (0 V) of the socket.
Depending on the device generation, the pin assignment of the voltage socket varies.
Pin | Signal | Description |
---|---|---|
1 | 24 V | Power supply |
2 | NC | not connected |
3 | GND | 0 V |
4 | NC | not connected |

The plug for the power supply is specified for 16 A and can accommodate wire cross-sections of up to 1.5 mm2. For long supply lines, use 1.5 mm2 cables to achieve a low voltage drop on the supply line. At least 22 V should be present at the voltage connector of the panel PC so that the PC remains switched on in the event of voltage fluctuations.
