Disconnecting the panel PC during a thunderstorm can lead to electric shock.

  • Never disconnect the cables of the panel PC during a thunderstorm.

Hardware damage due to power supply

A connected power supply can cause damage to the device during disassembly.

  • Disconnect the power supply from the device before starting to disassemble it.

As part of the decommissioning of the panel PC, you must first disconnect the power supply and cables. You can then dismantle the device.

Disconnecting the power supply and cables

To disconnect the cables and the power supply, follow the steps below:

1. Shut down the panel PC.
2. Disconnect the PC from your external 24 V power supply.
3. Remove the voltage connector from the voltage socket.
4. Make a note of the wiring of all data transmission cables if you want to restore the cabling with another device.
5. Disconnect all data transmission cables from the panel PC.
6. Finally, disconnect the ground connection.
You have disconnected the cables and power supply.

Disposal

If you do not wish to continue using the panel PC, you can remove it from the wall or mounting arm and then dispose of it. When disposing of the devices follow the national electronic scrap regulations.
