The device does not contain a lithium-ion battery. The motherboard battery is a CR2032 lithium-metal cell. It is used to supply power to the clock integrated on the motherboard. If the battery is depleted or missing, the date and time are displayed incorrectly.

The battery is located on the back of the device next to the connection section behind a cover. To replace the battery, follow the steps below:
- 1. Loosen the knurled screw on the cover.
- 2. Remove the cover.
- 3. Pull the battery out of the device.
- 4. Insert the new battery into the device. Make sure that the positive pole is pointing backwards towards the rear panel.
- 5. Put the cover back in place.
- 6. Tighten the knurled screw firmly again.
- You have successfully replaced the battery.
Battery disposal
To dispose of the battery, remove it, tape off the poles and put it in the battery disposal.
