The machining parameters have a specific meaning and effect and are described in greater detail in the corresponding cycles. They mainly include technological information like dwell times, number of infeed motions, turning directions and so on, which are necessary for the machining process.

With the geometry and machining parameters the transfer parameters of the corresponding cycle are defined.
