PCIe modules

In addition, you can extend the industrial PC by PCIe modules by using both of the device's PCIe module slots. The PCIe module is the Beckhoff definition of a small plug-in card format with a PCIe-x1 bus interface.

Different PCIe modules are available to you, depending on the device generation. Contact your Beckhoff distributor for the ordering options.

If you purchased your device in the basic version, you can subsequently extend it by the available modules. To do this, replace the blank panels (see fig. 6) with the PCIe modules by loosening the two Torx TX8 screws in the panels and tightening them again after inserting the modules.
