USB
The industrial PC has four USB interfaces (X106-X109). They are used to connect peripheral devices with USB interfaces. The following table shows the interface assignment based on the device generation:
Device generation | USB interfaces |
---|---|
C6030-0060 | 4x USB 3.0 (X106-X109) |
C6030-0070 | 4x USB 3.0 (X106-X109) |
C6030-0080 | 2x USB 3.2 Gen. 2 (X108-X109) 2x USB 3.2 Gen. 1 (X106-X107) |
Each of the four USB interfaces supplies up to 900 mA current and is electronically fused. USB ports A and B and USB ports C and D are each protected by a common overcurrent detection. If an overcurrent occurs at one of the ports, the two jointly protected USB ports are switched off.
For the device generation C6030-0070, USB port X108 is only compatible with USB 3.0.
