By default, your device is designed for operation at an ambient temperature of 0 °C to 55 °C. Alternatively, you can order your C6030-0080 with an extended, permissible ambient temperature of 0 °C to 70 °C. Use the ordering option C9900-B950 for this. In this case, observe the necessary fuse protection for the power supply (see chapter 4.3 Connecting the industrial PC).

To protect the hardware, thermal protection mechanisms of individual device components are activated when the device is operated at a permanently elevated ambient temperature. This leads to a temporary reduction in component performance. For NVMe^TM SSDs, this specifically means a reduction in read and write speeds.
