Replacing the fan

Notice

Incorrect fan type

The device may be damaged if the wrong type of fan is installed.

  • Only replace the fans with replacement fans from Beckhoff Service.

The fans ensure optimal cooling of the device. Order replacement fans only from Beckhoff. Please get in touch with your Beckhoff sales contact.

Before you can replace the fan and CPU cooler, you must gain access to the interior of the industrial PC (see chapter 7.2.1 Access to device components). You must switch off the industrial PC before you can replace the fan or CPU cooler.

In the basic configuration, there is a 120 x 120 x 25 mm fan behind the front of the industrial PC.
