Caution - Danger of death! Even if the AX5000 is disconnected from the mains voltage, life-threatening voltage is still present at the “X02” terminals of the DC link for 5 minutes. Before touching live terminals, wait for the capacitors to discharge. The voltage measured between the DC+ and DC- terminals (X02) must have dropped to below 50 V. |

Caution – Destruction of the encoder option card through electrostatic charging! The encoder option card is an ESD-sensitive component. Be sure to observe the ESD protection measures when handling the card. |
- Fully loosen the screw (1).
- Remove the cover (2).
- Carefully insert the option card (3) into the opening in the direction of the arrow. The slot has guides for the card on the short sides. Ensure that the card is inserted into these guides.
Tighten the bolt (4).
