X07 - Internal and external braking resistor (AX5140 only)

DANGER

Serious risk of injury due to high electrical voltage!

A life-threatening voltage of 875 V DC remains present at the +RB and -RB terminals of the X07 brake terminals even after the device has been shut down. Only remove the connector if you wish to configure a drive system with the AX-Bridge. Only remove the white hexagonal plugs if the terminal points are to be rewired.

  • Wait 15 minutes after shutdown of the power supply
  • Check the voltage and continue working if the voltage has dropped below 50 V DC.

Commissioning requirement

Commissioning the AX5140 can only be carried out when the terminal points "+RBint" and "+RB" are bridged (delivery state) or an external braking resistor is connected (terminal points "+RB" and "-RB"). If these measures are not taken then the AX5140 will be stopped with the error message "FD4B – undervoltage".
