Serious injuries caused by damage

Damage may result in hazardous voltages being present on the housing or exposed components and can lead to serious or even fatal injuries.

• Protect the braking resistor against damage during transport and storage and adhere to the conditions.

Loss of warranty due to improper storage and transportation

Disregarding the conditions can lead to damage to the braking resistor and invalidation of the warranty.

Damage due to moisture penetration

Condensation can occur during transport in cold weather or in the event of extreme temperature differences, which can lead to a short circuit and damage the braking resistor and the system.

• Switch the braking resistor on only when it is dry
• Make sure that no moisture collects in the braking resistor
• Slowly adjust the device temperature to room temperature
