Install the sealing plate

Inadequate fastening due to an incorrectly selected screw length

If the wrong screw size or length is chosen, proper mounting of the stepper motor and the sealing plate to the application cannot be guaranteed.

  • When making a choice regarding screw size and length, refer to the information in the chapter Technical Data

 

Install the sealing plate 1:

Notice The shaft sealing ring in the sealing plate is already pre-lubricated.

►Place the sealing plate [2] between the stepper motor [1] and the application [3]
►Place the sealing plate [2] centered on the motor shaft of the stepper motor [1]
►Insert four mounting screws [4] through the through holes in the application [3] and the sealing plate [2], and screw them into the threaded holes in the stepper motor flange
