Carrying out cleaning work during operation can lead to serious or fatal injuries.

  • Bring the connected motors and the machine into a safe state for cleaning work
  • De-energize connected motors and the machine
  • Secure connected motors and the machine to prevent unauthorized restarting

Damage to the motor due to liquid

Cleaning fluid entering the motor can cause damage to the motor.

  • Wipe the motor with cleaning agent and a cloth only
  • Do not immerse motor

Contamination, dust or chips can have a negative effect on the function of the components. In the worst case, contamination can lead to failure. Therefore, clean and service the components at regular intervals.
