Changed lubrication properties due to long storage time

Exceeding the specified maximum storage time can lead to changes in the properties of the lubricant used and damage the motor during subsequent operation.

  • Do not exceed the maximum storage time of two years

Reduced service life due to lack of controls

Damage to the motor or maintenance work not carried out will affect the service life of the installed components and parts.

  • Check the motor for proper condition every six months

Damage due to condensed water

Condensation can lead to damage during subsequent operation.

  • Keep the ambient temperature constant
  • Avoid solar radiation
  • Avoid high air humidity

You have the option of storing motors for either a short or a longer period. For storage we always recommend the original packaging. Adhere to the conditions specified in the chapter: Transport and storage.

The motors are protected against chemical and aggressive substances, class 1C2, chemical substances and 1B2, biological conditions.

Ensure the storage space is vibration-free.
