Before commissioning
Observe the following points before commissioning:
- Make sure that an emergency stop switch complying with the valid regulations is fitted to the control station
- Check servo drive for damage
- Check mounting and alignment
- Tighten screw connections correctly
- Installing mechanical, thermal and electrical protective devices
- Check wiring, connection and proper grounding on servo drive
In case of motors with holding brake [+]
- Check the function of the holding brake [+]
- Check emergency stop functions
