Beckhoff products are designed for operation under certain environmental conditions, which vary according to the product. The following specifications must be observed for operation and environment in order to achieve the optimum service life of the products.

+ 5 °C to + 40 °C

Ambient temperature during transportation

- 25 °C to + 70 °C, maximum fluctuation 20 K/hour

Ambient temperature during storage

- 25 °C to + 70 °C, maximum fluctuation 20 K/hour

Power derating

No power derating up to an installation altitude of 1000 m above sea level.

Installation altitude

At installation altitudes higher than 1000 m above sea level and 40 °C:

 6 % at 2000 m above sea level
17 % at 3000 m above sea level
30 % at 4000 m above sea level
55 % at 5000 m above sea level

Permissible humidity during transport and storage

5 % to 95 % relative humidity, non-condensing
