Trouble-Shooting

The following list provides basic help in case of errors and should be read before contacting our support department.

  1. Check if one of the PLC function blocks returns an error code:

  4. ADS Return codes
  5. Win Socket Error codes
  6. Activate the logging option in the TcSmtpConfig.xml
  7. The TcSmtpConfig.xml is located in \TwinCAT\Functions\TF6350-SMS-SMTP
  8. Enable verbose logging by setting the EnableLogFile = 1 and restart TwinCAT.
  9. <TcSmtpConfig> <!-- EnableLogFile: 0 (Disabled), 1 (Enabled) --> <EnableLogFile>1</EnableLogFile> ... <Reconnects>5</Reconnects> </TcSmtpConfig>
  10. The log file will be generate in \TwinCAT\Functions\TF6350-SMS-SMTP .
