Safety Editor
The Safety Editor integrated in TwinCAT 3 allows the creation of a safety application in a new graphical environment and offers a new paradigm to create hardware independent safety projects for easy portability.
The application can be organised in networks for better structuring of the safety application logic. The basic programming unit are pre-certified function blocks, allowing a fast development of safety-relevant applications. On the one hand, the already familiar function blocks of the Beckhoff logic terminals KL6904 and EL6900, as well as the function blocks for new products are already included. For the TwinCAT Safety PLC, function blocks with even more functionality will be provided.
