Trigger values

Switching threshold 1 (R41)
default: 1000

Here you can specify the switching threshold for the trigger source of trigger unit 1. Scaling:
Threshold value = full scale value x parameter / resolution

Sample for KL3361: 16 mV x 1000 / 32767 = 0,488 mV

Switching threshold 2 (R42)
default: 1000

Here you can specify the switching threshold for enabling the trigger of trigger unit 1.

Pulse width (R43)
default: 100

Here you can specify the pulse width (t_P) of trigger unit 1 for the glitch mode. The number of samples (n_SP) is entered as the parameter. The pulse width thus depends on the sample rate! Sample:
- Sample rate: T_s =  200 µs
- Samples: n_SP = 100
Pulse width: t_P = T_s x n_SP = 200 µs x 100 = 20 ms

valid trigger time (R44)
default:

Here you can specify the valid trigger time (t_VT) for trigger unit 1. The number of valid samples (n_VS) is entered as the parameter. The valid trigger time thus depends on the sample rate! Sample: 
- Sample rate: T_s = 200 µs

- valid samples: n_VS=100

Valid trigger time: t_VT = T_s x n_VS =200 µs x 100 = 20 ms

Timeframe active (R40.6)
default: not activated

Here you can switch on the timeframe for trigger unit 1.

Switching threshold 1 (R47)

Here you can specify the switching threshold for the trigger source of trigger unit 2.

Here you can switch on the timeframe for trigger unit 2.
