With eight channels, the EL2878-0005 digital output terminal offers a very compact design and is suitable for valve terminals with multi-pin plug connection, for example. A 20-pin contact strip enables the secure connection of connectors using piercing connection, as is usual for flat-ribbon cables and special round cables. This significantly simplifies the wiring of many channels.

Eight LEDs display the logical signal states of the outputs. The terminal monitors the supply voltage and reports the status via process image and LED.
